Celebration Candles by The Small Object

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

Got an email today from a wonderful artist who is making the cutest celebration candle holders! I hope to be making her some ceramic cupcakes for her to use as display at her art shows. Cupcakes Unite! Be sure to check out her other products too - it’s all too cute. I’m also really impressed with the number of stores The Small Object works with - I hope to have as many or more one day :) Thanks for the inspiration Sarah!

Reversible Tote Bags

Monday, May 19th, 2008

I’ve finished a group of 7 reversible tote bags over the weekend and uploaded to my etsy site! The fabrics were fun, there was a good mix of japanese prints, 1930’s reproduction fabrics (feedsack) and some cute stripes and polka dots in red, chartreuse, green, peach, yellow and blue. These bags are perfect for the grocery store, now that paper and plastic is finally being phased out. I went to the market with two of them, spent 80 dollars and still had some room left.  They are reversible and can also work as any type of tote bag, for books, shopping, school, knitting, etc. Prices are dependent on the cost of the fabric. Thanks for looking!

I love Jonathan’s menagerie of animals, the whale pitcher is my favorite though.
